Voiceworks Confirms Gold Sponsorship of The Big Goal for 2026
Voiceworks proudly announces Gold Sponsorship support for The Big Goal 2026, a programme that uses football as a way to create connection, confidence and opportunity for young people.
The Big Goal is led by the Street Soccer Foundation and is built around a simple aim: Together, changing lives through football.
The initiative uses football as an open and inclusive way to support young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, as well as those not currently in education, training or work. Designed for young people from all backgrounds, the programme reflects how the game itself has evolved in the UK, becoming a space where everyone belongs. Through structured activity and mentoring, participants build confidence, develop practical skills and take meaningful steps towards more stable futures. As a Gold sponsor, Voiceworks is funding a full Street Soccer Academy cohort of up to ten young people. The Academy is a free, twelve week programme combining regular football sessions with personal development support and employability guidance.

So could you tell us more about the course and how it helped you develop, and what you’ve done with the knowledge from the course?
Participant:
The course actually taught me how to interview. That was my biggest downfall when trying to get a career — the way I was interviewing.
I didn’t know how to present myself or how to talk. Through the course, I learned confidence and respect more than anything.
Even something as simple as how to shake someone’s hand — everything adds up.
The main thing I took from it was being able to get a job.
Building confidence and real opportunities for young people.
